Bite Me, It's Halloween

Kyle has been careful his whole life.

Good grades. Scholarship. Suppressants. A future he can't afford to screw up.

But Monster Ball is supposed to be different.

One ridiculous costume. One stranger kissed at midnight. One night of being reckless Kyle instead of scholarship Kyle.

Then he runs into Conner.

The Alpha whose scent has been haunting him for weeks. The one who's apparently been growling at anyone who gets too close to Kyle's usual study spots.

And of course Conner is dressed as a vampire.

Kyle's rented cat ears are supposed to be nothing more than part of his costume. Nobody mentions they react to their wearer's emotions.

So when Conner leans close and murmurs, "Careful, kitten," Kyle's traitorous ears betray exactly how much he wants him.

Which is a problem.

An unclaimed heat could cost Kyle his scholarship.

But being claimed?

Claimed is forever. At eighteen. In October of his freshman year.

And Conner is making forever feel like a very bad good idea.

A funny, spicy standalone MM omegaverse Halloween short story. One reckless night, one catastrophically smitten Alpha, emotionally treacherous cat ears, and a guaranteed happy ending. No mpreg, no cliffhanger.
